At this year’s Munich Show 2025, collector Fady Kamar presented a breathtaking part of his agate collection — a display that instantly became one of the highlights of the event. His case drew the attention of collectors, photographers, and enthusiasts alike, standing out for its harmony, depth, and color.
Fady’s passion for volcanoes is what first pulled him into the world of agates. Over time, that fascination turned into a lifelong pursuit — and after more than 15 years of collecting, he has built one of the most iconic agate collections in the world.

While he collects agates from different regions, his focus has always remained on the finest examples — pieces that feel alive with color, movement, and character. Today, about 95% of his collection is based on Mexican agates, known for their incredible depth and vibrant tones.

Among the pieces shown in Munich were several that came directly from us at Agates from Mexico, and seeing them shining in that display was a proud moment. The case itself was a statement — a reminder of how powerful agates can be when they are chosen not just for rarity, but for emotion and balance.
Fady collects with precision. He looks for perfection, choosing wisely what to add next, always guided by a deep respect for nature’s design. Every stone has to earn its place — and that dedication is what makes his collection so memorable.

His Munich exhibit made a big impact — not just for its beauty, but for the feeling it left behind. It reminded everyone that collecting agates isn’t about having the most; it’s about understanding what makes each one timeless.

“Perfection isn’t about flawlessness — it’s about harmony. Fady’s case in Munich captured exactly that.”
