Agates From Mexico was created as a long-term project shaped by years of direct work with agates from Mexico — from sourcing and selection to cutting, preparation, and final presentation. Our approach is deliberate and patient, guided by the understanding that truly exceptional material is rare and cannot be rushed.
Much of our work happens away from the spotlight. Time is spent studying raw material, evaluating structure, color, and internal balance, and learning what separates ordinary agates from those with lasting collector presence. Only a small portion of what we work with ever meets the standard to be released.
BE PART OF THE FAMILY
Our Agates
The agates we work with come from a limited number of established deposits in Mexico, respected by collectors for their geological complexity, depth of color, and natural character. These materials are uncommon not because of demand, but because most nodules never reveal these qualities when cut.
Selection begins long before a specimen is finished. Many pieces are set aside, studied, or retained as reference material rather than released. The specimens presented here are chosen without exaggeration, shortcuts, or trends — only when the stone itself meets our standards.
We are closely involved in every stage of the process, from evaluation and cutting to final preparation. Each specimen offered has passed through careful hands and deliberate decisions, with respect for both the material and its origin. No mass production. No rushed releases. Only work done at the pace the stone requires.

Our
Mission
Our mission is simple: to share exceptional natural material with collectors and enthusiasts around the world — not as commodities, but as enduring records of geological time and natural process.
Agates From Mexico exists as both a collection and a growing archive, where each specimen is presented clearly, honestly, and without embellishment. We believe the stone itself should speak first.
Thank you for being here. We hope you find a piece that speaks to you.
