This extraordinary Coyamito agate halve showcases a dramatic pseudomorphic structure where earlier crystal growth was preserved and later replaced by chalcedony. The result is a tall, sculptural formation filled with tubular cavities and mineral remnants that reveal the original architecture of the crystals that once occupied this space. Warm amber, caramel, and honey-toned fortification bands surround these structures, forming concentric rings that outline each preserved cavity and tube. Many of these openings are partially lined with sparkling quartz crystals, while delicate druzy coatings add texture and brilliance across the specimen. In places, the agate also displays perimorphic characteristics where chalcedony formed around earlier minerals.
