This Coyamito agate halve reveals a remarkable pseudomorphic structure wrapped in tightly layered fortification bands. Deep violet and lavender chalcedony dominate the interior, bordered by warm caramel, honey, and cream tones that trace the stone in delicate, rhythmic layers. Within the bands, dotted inclusions and moss-like textures appear suspended in the chalcedony, while preserved tubular forms hint at the original mineral growth that was gradually replaced during formation. These features create a fascinating sense of depth, as if the structures are floating within the stone. Along the outer edge, the natural husk and matrix remain intact, contrasting beautifully with the polished interior. Small druzy crystals sparkle across portions of the surface, adding texture and brilliance.
Each specimen offered by Agates From Mexico is individually selected, documented, and prepared with care. Only material that meets our standards for structure, color, and integrity is released. Our focus is long-term quality and careful selection.
